The reno is done. The dust isn't.
Why It's Different

Why a regular clean can't finish a renovation.

Construction dust and residue behave differently from household dirt — and they punish the wrong approach. This is why hiring a standard house cleaner for a reno clean so often ends in a second booking.

Drywall dust is airborne

Sweeping or dry-mopping construction dust pushes it back into the air — it resettles on the surfaces you just cleaned. It needs HEPA vacuuming and a top-down wet pass, not a regular mop.

Paint, adhesive & overspray

Splatter on glass, sticker residue on new appliances, grout haze on fresh tile and protective film glue need the right solvents and technique — the wrong approach scratches brand-new finishes.

Dust hides inside fixtures

Renovation dust fills vent covers, range hoods, light fixtures, window tracks and cabinet interiors. These are the spots that keep re-dusting a home weeks after the contractors leave.

New surfaces need new care

Fresh hardwood, new tile and factory-finish fixtures each need a different treatment. Post-renovation cleaning is about protecting the investment you just made, not a generic wipe-down.

What's Included

Every post-reno clean, from ceiling to subfloor.

A structured top-down scope, confirmed in your quote before the crew arrives. Your project's specifics — heavy dust zones, protected new finishes, tight timelines — are built into the plan.

Top-down fine dust removal

Ceilings, walls, crown moulding and corners HEPA-vacuumed and wiped from the highest point down, so settling dust is captured in one pass.

Vents, fixtures & range hoods

Vent covers, intake grates, light fixtures, exhaust fans and range hoods opened, cleaned and de-dusted — the filters of a freshly renovated home.

Paint, adhesive & residue

Paint flecks, grout haze, sticker residue and protective-film glue lifted from glass, tile, fixtures and appliance surfaces with surface-safe products.

Windows, sills & tracks

Interior glass, window sills and tracks cleared of dust and debris — new windows are usually the first thing a renovation leaves dirty.

Kitchens & bathrooms, reset

New cabinetry inside and out, countertops, backsplashes, tubs, showers and fixtures detailed so the rooms you rebuilt are actually usable.

Floors & baseboards, finished

Baseboards, door frames, trim and every floor type hand-finished last — hardwood, tile, laminate and concrete each get the treatment their finish needs.

Scope note: we clean after construction finishes — leftover building materials, drywall sheets and contractor debris should be cleared before your visit (usually your contractor's responsibility). Interior HVAC ductwork is a separate licensed trade. Your quote states exactly what's included, so nothing is assumed on either side.

How It Works

Assessment, fixed quote, crew day.

Renovations run on dates. Our process is built around your handover, move-in or listing deadline — and nothing is charged until you approve the quote.

1 · Quick assessment

Send photos, square footage and a note on what was renovated. We confirm the scope the same way — no assumptions about what a 'post-reno clean' means for your project.

2 · A fixed quote

You receive a firm, fixed quote covering the full scope — most GTA post-renovation cleans start at $499. Larger homes and full-build projects are quoted individually. Nothing is charged until you approve.

3 · Crew day

A dedicated crew arrives with HEPA vacuums, microfibre systems and surface-safe solvents — timed to your move-in, listing or handover date.

4 · Final walkthrough

We walk the scope with you (or send photo documentation if you're off-site) so the handover is provably complete. Before-and-after photos available for builders and landlords.

Who It's For

GTA projects we clean up after.

Homeowners after a renovation

Kitchen, bathroom or whole-home renovations — move back into a finished home, not a construction site with new cabinets.

New-build buyers

Pre-delivery inspection done, possession date booked? A builder's clean at handover gets your new construction home truly move-in ready.

Landlords & investors

Renovated a unit between tenants or before listing? Photo-documented results you can hand to incoming tenants or your property manager.

Contractors & builders

Wrapping a project and want the final clean handled by someone else? We scope around your completion date and leave the site presentation-ready.

Pricing

A fixed quote you approve first.

Post-renovation work is priced per project, not per hour — the stage of construction, square footage, number of dusty zones and the finishes involved all change the scope. Most GTA post-renovation cleans start at $499 plus HST; full-home renovations, new builds and heavy-dust projects are quoted individually.

You'll always have a firm, fixed number before the crew is booked — and nothing is charged until you approve the quote. Larger or more complex properties may carry a disclosed premium, shown in the quote before you commit.

All pricing is subject to 13% HST. Quotes are valid for 30 days.

Common Questions

Post-renovation cleaning FAQs.

What's the difference between post-renovation cleaning and a deep clean?

A deep clean assumes a lived-in home with accumulated grime. Post-renovation cleaning deals with construction-specific problems: fine drywall dust that has settled into every surface, paint and adhesive residue, grout haze and dust inside vents, fixtures and new cabinetry. Different tools, different products, different sequence — which is why a standard deep clean usually can't finish the job.

When should the clean happen — before or after move-in?

The clean works best once all trades and deliveries are finished — after flooring, painting and appliance installation, and before your furniture arrives. We schedule around your move-in, listing or handover date and can split the work into a rough pass and a final pass for longer projects.

Do you remove construction debris?

No — leftover materials, drywall sheets, offcuts and garbage bags are the contractor's responsibility and should be removed before we arrive. We specialize in the fine-dust and finish work that makes a space genuinely clean: surfaces, fixtures, glass, vents and floors.

Do you clean the HVAC system or air ducts?

We clean vent covers, intake grates and range hood filters — the visible, accessible parts. Full duct cleaning inside the ductwork is a separate licensed trade we can't bundle; if your renovation produced heavy drywall dust, a duct cleaning company is worth booking too.

How much does post-renovation cleaning cost in the GTA?

Every project is scoped individually because sizes and stages vary so much. Most GTA post-renovation cleans start at $499 (plus HST), with larger homes, full-build projects and heavy-dust situations quoted individually. You'll always approve a fixed quote before any work is booked.

Do you work with our contractor's schedule?

Yes. We routinely coordinate with contractors, painters and builders across Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton and the rest of the GTA, and can provide before-and-after photo documentation for the final invoice or handover package.

Which areas do you serve?

The whole Greater Toronto Area — Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Oakville, Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough and surrounding communities. See our service areas page for the full list.

Also part of our property care work: deep cleaning for lived-in resets, move-out cleaning for tenant handovers, window cleaning for the glass a renovation leaves film-coated, and property services for ongoing maintenance. Serving the full GTA — see service areas.
