The Airbnb Turnover Checklist GTA Hosts Actually Use
Back-to-back bookings leave little room for error. Here is the same room-by-room checklist our crews follow to turn a unit around between guests.

A great review usually starts before your guest ever walks in. It starts with a turnover that leaves nothing behind — no missed towels, no half-stocked kitchen, no dust on the nightstand. Here is the checklist our teams work from on every short-term rental turnover across the GTA.
Before the cleaning starts
- Check the guest log: outgoing guest checkout time and incoming guest arrival time
- Note any damage, missing items or unusual wear from the last stay
- Confirm supply levels: linens, towels, toiletries, coffee, paper products
The room-by-room pass
Kitchen: all dishes washed and put away, counters and appliance fronts wiped, microwave and fridge checked for leftovers, floor swept and mopped.
Bathrooms: toilet, shower and sink scrubbed and disinfected, mirrors polished, fresh towels folded, toiletries restocked, floor cleaned.
Bedrooms: linens stripped and replaced, beds made to your listing photos, surfaces dusted, under-bed and behind-furniture spots checked for stray guest items.
Living areas: cushions and throws straightened, remotes wiped, floors vacuumed, trash and recycling removed.
The final five minutes
- Set the thermostat to your standard between-guest setting
- Stage the keys, lockboxes or smart locks for the next guest
- Take timestamped photos so you have proof of condition for every stay
Why a checklist matters
Guests rarely notice a great turnover — but they always notice a bad one. A documented, repeatable checklist is the difference between a one-time clean and a five-star streak.
Want this off your plate entirely? Our Airbnb turnover service handles the whole checklist for you, with photo confirmation after every visit.
